More Rain ... The Year In Photographs ... January 24, 2013
The first decent rainfall of the wet season bucketed down yesterday.
About 145 mm or 6 inches of liquid sunshine fell from the sky in one
day. There were huge lakes of water lying around everywhere on the way
to work this morning.
Seems we all have a lot of weather these days, one way or the other! Tomorrow the cold snap here is going to wring out yet another snowfall over Britain and then it should be over for this time. Next week back to double figuers (Celsius)! Hope you are OK with all the rain, nice when you finally get it, but better if it comes in even portions :-)
Sounds and looks like the rain we had last year that caused all the flooding! You be careful and well you wanted a little rain...I guess not all at once! Stay safe!
Wow, that's a LOT of rain. I hope you don't get much more so that this load can soak into the ground for you.

Love your new header! We are really down on rain/snow here about eight inches. They are predicting rain next week.

You did get rain! It still freaks me driving on that side of the road. Looks like you could swim your way to school.

ReplyDeleteNow that is a lot of rain and flooding it looks like. I'll take my below zero cold for now as my garden cannot cope with that much rain.
