Wordless Wildlife Wednesday ... This Is What A Wallaby Pedicure Looks LIke!
Lovely! The joey next to me is too big for the pouch now and just hops ahead of mum. Guess she might get another one in there soon again? What is that tree with the white trunk called in your collage heading Bernie?
Marguerite, this particular wallaby looks like she might have quite a little one in her pouch. There's a couple of large joeys out and about here at the moment.
That tree with the white trunk is Eucalyptus platyphylla or Poplar Gum, which is quite a common tree in the bushland around here.

Iris, they do have rather human-like actions sometimes. They great fun to watch.
