Here we are ... it's the beginning of April, our mid-Autumn month and there's some pink and purple out in the shadehouse and courtyard gardens. Finally the skies have cleared and the rain has finished ... but the garden is looking a little drab. So it's great to see these soft splashes of colour in a garden that's slowed down considerably after our 'wet' season.
I'm joining Mary for her Mosaic Monday meme.

DeleteBeautiful blooms and photos Bernie. The orchids are just gorgeous. V
ReplyDeleteVal, I don't have many Orchids but I do so love this one. It just powers on despite the lack of care and attention from me.
DeleteSuch a pretty autumn flower! Hope that the weather becomes brighter and sunnier so that you can enjoy a wonderful autumn.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vee. It does look like the dry season has set in now. We've had great sunny clear blue-sky days for a week or so now.
DeleteThese are just beautiful! Purple is one of my favorite colors in or out of the garden!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favourites too, Holley. Just love it!
DeleteI love your purple anthurium! You combined well. Love it with those Mona lavender. And that orchid is really gorgeous! Enjoy :-D
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your comment, thanks Stephanie. It's great to see the Orchid blooms again.

Thanks Jill. How's the weather there now? Bright, sunny and still rather warm here.
DeleteLovely colours Bernie, those orchids are stunning, fantastic photography.
ReplyDeleteDo you still get that quick editing tool underneath your blogs? Mine have disappeared for some time now and I have asked why and never get an answer. Have a lovely April.
Hi Marguerite. I had to scroll down and check, but that quick editing tool is no longer at the bottom of my blog posts. Seems to have disappeared. eBlogger must have just made a decision to remove it and that was that.
DeleteThis is gorgeous. I would love for you to visit me at My Dream Canvas :-) You have a lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anu. I'll definitely drop by to visit your blog too.
DeleteOh how pretty Bernie. I am loving your pink and purple blooms today. The Orchid is so beautiful and so is the Anthurium. They make a beautiful mosaic. Have a terrific week.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the pink and purple this week, Lona.
DeleteBernie these are stunning flowers and colors!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Donna. The pinks and purples are looking rather good at the moment.
DeleteBeautiful - I am loving this weather!
ReplyDeleteDitto, AA!!! The wet season can sometimes drag on for just a touch too long can't it??
DeleteLove the raindrops on the orchid.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane. No raindrops though, just the hose water drops. Thankfully the rainy season seems to have finished up for this year. It becomes a little hard to put up with when it goes on for months.
DeleteWell thank you so much for becoming my latest follower, Chris. I'm glad you enjoyed your first visit here, and I hope you'll keep on enjoying what goes on here in my tropical garden. I'll definitely drop by to visit now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, as always. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful presentation and I really love the colour pallet used. Happy Easter season~
ReplyDeleteThank you Bernie for your reply. It is still in the options at settings so I wonder if it is a temporary hicup. We will find out. Your music is lovely.
ReplyDeleteBernie, the quick editing tool has not been taken off. Please check out my nature's blog where I posted the comment from Known issues. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernie. Blooming might have slowed because of the rain but what you have is still beautiful. Things here are in gear blooming away because of the warm early spring. The azaleas have been outstanding this year.
