Today's Flowers ... Hemerocallis
December is the first month of our hot, humid Summer and I've been treated to a passing parade of Hemerocallis, or Daylily blooms. They are certainly a cheerful sight.
I'm glad you enjoyed them, Denise. I haven't joined in your meme for ages now, so I was very pleased to find a few moments today to put this post together.
Hi Bernie....glad to see you again! Your lilies are gorgeous. Mine all got eaten by hungry deer this year. I dug them up and gave them away....I was so aggravated. I expect you have several little hungry creatures who would love those lily blooms too! Hope all is well with you!!
It's good to be back, Jean. I'm on holidays right now, enjoying the end-of-year break from school. The Daylilies are really doing well in the heat and humidity once again. They seem to enjoy the conditions. So far, they don't seem to attract any of the creatures that roam around here. Fingers crossed!!!
Glad to see you back in blogland. The lilies are so pretty. I love the red and green one. I only have two kinds and they didn't flower for very long. It had been very dry before all these storms.
Wow! Your day lilies are stunning. Thank you for sharing them with Today's Flowers Bernie and happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie. It's a favourite of mine too, but then I do just adore white in the garden.
