It's time for Wattle blooms once again here in the north-east.
The Acacia simsii is blooming out in the surrounding bushland. They usually bloom in early Autumn, which is March here in Oz.
It's a rather scraggly looking bush, but those fabulous little golden puffs make up for the general untidiness of its growth.

I love acacia! I was totally amazed at the wattle trees when I came to Oz. We pay a nice price for that stuff in the flower shops but it still is one of my favorites. Mist, fog, and 50F here.
ReplyDeleteI love the vibrant yellow of the acacia flowers. Are they scented as well?
ReplyDeleteHappy autumn to you!
Oh I love those tiny little blooms. Now they do make you think fall.
ReplyDeleteSo yellow and sunny!
