These are so colourful. I love looking at your mosaics. You are very clever Bernie. Do you have them on your desktop perhaps?
ReplyDeleteYour mosaics are beautiful though the weather may not be. Just read in Missy's post about what they went through. Hope the weather improves soon. Floods and food shortages must be painful experiences.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaics.
well arranged.... green with tropical colour and flavour...
ReplyDeleteBernie, Those are lovely foliage and flowers, hopefully some consolation during your grey days.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernie, your colourful mosaics of foliage are as beautiful as your blooms! I see that your garden never run out of foliage and blooms to showcase here..love them!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to open up your mosaics to see such fabulous colour and tropical plants especially on a dreary gray wet Monday morning. You have put the smile back in to my Monday :0)

Marguerite I still only have Picasa to use when creating mosaics. I'm now a dab hand at using it but the choices are rather limited.
ReplyDeleteOne ... the recovery phase has started for many places around flood-affected Queensland now. It's a horrible job and it's going to take ages. Luckily Missy came through safely.
Thanks Bangchik ... lots of green out in the garden at the moment.
Cyndy ... we're lucky to be able to have some colour year-round. It's delightful wandering around as spotting lovely flowers even if the sky is constantly dismal and grey.
P3 ...it certainly brightens my day having at least some colour out there.
Sue ... glad to cheer your dismal morning. I think these grey skies must stretch halfway around the world right now.
Visiting your blog is like visiting the botanical gardens.
ReplyDeleteGreen is one of my favorite colors and these pictures are just wonderful! The blossoms are like burst of sun in the midst of the shades of green! Thank you! Cathy
ReplyDeleteBernie,
ReplyDeleteYour mosaics are lovely ... the tropicals gorgeous.
Bernie such beautiful and unusual plants. We see some of them here as houseplants but I am sure they never look like they do in your environment.

The second collage in particular is a lovely display of colours and greenery! For comparison here's mine ;)
ReplyDeleteBernie, your plants look so lovley and lush. Wonderful mosaic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bernie for your answer. I do think I can make them with my iphoto as well, so don't be surprised if I manage one too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lush plants for your mosaics. Many of them just summer visitors here and use as houseplants in winter.
ReplyDeleteDear Bernie, It is so lovely to see your exotic mosaics! Beautiful! I am sorry to hear that the rains continue . . . how long does your wet season last? I hope your family is OK. From the land of frigidness . . . wishing you dry sunny days!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is refreshing to see such healthy foliage in these mosaics!
ReplyDeleteLove the mosaics!! Hoping that the rains stop soon!!! We lived in Saunders Beach for about a year and watched the beach get pretty much decimated by the king tides and cyclone action in Jan/Feb 2009. Hope you can stay dry!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Bernie! I love your midsummer blooms! That Medallion is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI must confess that I am not up with the geography of Australia. How has the weather affected you and your garden? We are getting an exceptionally cold and snowy winter here on Long Island. I can't wait until it all goes away. Usually the snow melts a day or two after it falls. Not this year. Too cold.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collage. Is so great to see so many nice plants blooming
