Mosaic Monday ... It's Lily Time!

I've got a couple of pots of Oriental, Asiatic and L.A. Hybrid Liliums out in my courtyard, and they're providing fabulous sights and wonderful perfume at the moment.

I'm joining Mary for  Mosaic Monday

  1. Dearest Bernie.
I do hope you are feeling much better by now, and have fully recovered.
Recently returned home from hospital, and a huge bouquet of white and pink Lillies were waiting for my attention. They filled my home with the most wonderful fragrance. Love Lillies, but don´t think I would succeed growing them, myself. Yours are absolutely gorgeous. I admire your ´magic touch´ ;o)
    Have a wonderful week.
    Best regards Iris.

    1. Lona, 'Eyeliner' is the one that seems to be everyone's favourite. Well-deserved too. It's really a stunner.

  4. Hi Bernie. Your liliums are so beautiful. I must say I have never tried to grow them. How has the winter been over there. We haven't had hardly enough rain. Looks like another dry summer coming. Have a wonderful week.

    1. Jill, out winters are always fabulous. Lovely temps, clear blue skies. Of course our winters occur during our dry season so we don't get much rain, if any at all at that time of year. We're now hanging out for the summer rains to arrive. Everything around is very dry and brown.

  7. Hi Bernie....I do hope also that you have recovered. I had a wedding this weekend and I used the Asiatic lilies. Mostly orange but the big white Casa Blanca for the bride. The big white ones have a smell as do the pink ones. Yours are quite lovely in your garden.

    1. Yes Jean, I'm on the way to full recovery now. I was back at work today and got through the day very well, thank goodness. Wedding decorations of Asiatic Lilies would look absolutely stunning. What a great choice.

  10. The lilies are so gorgeous. I suppose you are not bothered by lily beetle in Australia. They just destroy the lilies here in season. Valerie

    1. No, Val, there's no Lily beetle here in the tropics. We're so lucky. Our Lilies can look terrific for ages.

    1. Donna, I wish I had lots more space to plant loads of them. Unfortunately that's not the case, and I can't seem to fit any more pots out in my courtyard either!!!

  13. Absolutely gorgeous! For some reason, we can't grow them in North Florida.

  14. The lilies are beautiful. I just cut some of mine down as they had turned brown, can't wait until they are up again next summer.
